Not been able to do any decent projects lately, and a touch bored today so thought i'd share a few little bits.
Done a few more little turned projects, progressed onto some slightly fancier pens too.
Small scale turning is nice and quiet, I can do these late in the evening, and can do an odd 10 mins here and there when I get a chance.
Little spinning top, from ebony and ash.
Yes, it does spin!
What to do with the offcuts?
Silver plated cufflinks, with a turned artificial (polyester) Lapis Lazuli insert.
Basic ballpoint pen, Ebony and chrome.
Acrylic pen barrel, turned and polished, looks great in the light.
Nice chunk bodied pen and matching keyring, again in acrylic.
Nice to write with, Schmidt rollerball.

Re: More turning
Excellent work. The pics could easily be from an expensive bespoke catalogue. What do you do with all this stuff?

Re: More turning
Getting the pics nice and clear is hard work. Might invest in a light tent one day, should make things a little easier.
What do I do with it? A few pens and bits have gone as presents, just finished a matched pen/pencil for FILs birthday as it happens.
The rest, sits in a box or on the hallway window sill at the moment
