Aligning pull out larder

Post by IANP1966 »

Just installed a benchmarx kitchen but having a problem with a pull out larder.

It all lines up ok but when you close it the left edge and particularly the top hang out, the frame itself seems straight enough but i dont think that this is the problem. The 2 doors are connected by joining plates

Any suggestions gratefully accepted

I suspect that it is an Hafele supplied unit. If you search for the unit you have installed on the link below and put in 'pull out larder units' you will find a PDF of the fitting instructions. On the ones I have fitted the runners and track location measurements were critical. http://www.hafele.co.uk/Hafele35a1/Temp ... el=&page=7

Hope this helps

there are adjustments on the bottom runner to align the mechanism in the carcase.. what usually happens is that the runners are adjusted when there is nothing loaded in and when the weight of the doors go on the frame leans forward slightly .. load the baskets with some toolds and stuff to give it some wieght and then adjust the vertical plane with the 2 screws in bottom runner until closing neatly.
hope that helps
