Looks like no one has a great thing to say about Waltons! I am looking for a shed myself as left the last one when we moved. I was probably going to go for Waltons as well - time to rethink that for sure!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

nice to see a company loose business through sh*t service
and on that note i will say au revoir as i am taking the wife and kids to Anglesey for a few days.
were staying in a cheap hotel, it was only £20 a night for the 4 of us. wonder what the room service will be like?
they may have a jucuzzi and 4 star restaraunt!
will we get a sea view?
oh i cant wait to find out

slightly off topic, but can anyone tell me where i can buy the T+G that these larger log cabins seem to be made out of, the ones i have seen claim to have 45mm thick walls. i want the timber to make my own but can only seem to find cheapo floorboard type timber.

No problem Lee - I know what you mean about written v. voice - easy to jump to wrong conclusions . Absolutely no offence takenleebwk wrote:Hi Hoovie,
Sorry it sounded like i was referring to you but i wasn't, sometimes when written in text it sounds so impersonnal, under no circumstances was i implying that, sorry if it sounded like that

It's a material I'll be looking into for next years garden projects but I can't find anything as thick as 45mm.
Dead Link Removed - RichAndoFinnforest Thermowood looks impressive stuff but even they are 25mm[/url].
Perhaps the quotes included insulation or internal cladding?

Why not make your own ? use standard size say 145 x 45 from a timber merchant, router a 9mm groove and bevel down both edges and 9mm WBP ply strips for the tongue, piece of cake if you have a router better still with a spindle moulder as you can do the groove and bevel in one go, or if you cant be arsed with it get the timber merchant to run it up in the mill

Thanks for the offer Rich, I will bear it in mind when the time comes round, Its just a pipe dream at the moment though, or should i say long term project, LoL one of those jobs where i seem to buy/find/borrow the materials over a two-three year period and then store them till i get round to it LoL.

I'm with you on this
I've got 3sheds here (wendy house & 2small sheds) usually I trawl the net looking for the best deal but only on products that cannot differ (e.g. the sony).
My sheds are all from a localish supplier, good product & reasonable-ish price, and they aren't far away if in the event I have a problem.
