Is it just the women I know...

Post by northwales4u »

But my latest lady has a habit (like all the previous) of walking to the other side of the house and shouting me so I shout back "I can't hear a word your saying because your not in the same room as you" - thank feck I live out in the country. Then they come in and ask why I didn't reply. I do try to explain that if they want to ask me something they should try and be in the same room as me ::b ::b

 yep, it's women as a 'race'. If I need to say something to her, I have to go to her. If she has to say something I have to go to her.

And, don 't get me started on the way she acts pre rag week...... ::b
Don't take it personally......

It's a woman thing. My other half does it to me too and then accuses me of being deaf.
Me, however...

I must have really annoyed her - she cooked some spag bol and for some reason unknown to mankind she has put chilli in it. I'm sittting here in my boxers sweating my b*ll*cks off while is is tucked up in bed probably with a smug grim on her face.

I've two options - either a Batman two way radio from Argos tomorrow or the Tesco extra comfy pillow tonight (but then I'll have to dig a sodding hole while my mouth is on fire!)

My partner does exactly the same. She waits until she's in the kitchen or bedroom before shouting something to me when I'm in another room. Must be a "Woman" thing.

Your spot on their Hitch - whenever she shouts something from another part of the house I used to shout the reply back and she would say "what?" - therefore expecting me to walk to her to reply. The other week we were in the pub with a loud music. I was at the bar, miles away from her, when a young blonde asked me for a light and I said "only if you give me one", she asked if I meant a smoke or something else. I said it would have to be a smoke this time because she is over there but told her I would certainly give her one. The next morning my missus said she wasn't too pleased with me for saying that - how the hell could she hear it!

Angie does this to me all the time. She will be sat in the other room with the TV on, I'll be sat at the computer and the tumble drier will be on and rumbling in my ear as there is no door on the kitchen as a previous tenant removed it for throwing knife practice.

She will then say something and obviously I will say "what?", she will then go off on one and say I need my ears testing because I am deaf - strange how I always pass the hearing test at work

She is really annoying when I say "what" and she says "it doesn't matter" :angryfire:

I now find it much easier to just ignore her :thumbright:

The present Lady Puller(Olive), does have a habbit of doing that, but I don't care, I'm sure there must be 101 things that I do that gets right up her nose. This being my second marriage, I think she's great at putting up with my daft wee ways.........Like cooking a three course dinner & I arrive home 2 hours late, cause I've been stuck with my head in someone's cylinder cupboard or boiler.
