So was in LIDL having a nose around and saw they have some kid safety stuff in, had a nose to see if any of it might keep the dog safe (sproglet free in this house, the dog is bad enough)
All well and good, then I notice they have those flipping dangerous "safety socket protector" liabilities in stock, collared one of the staff, who got the manager (same age as me by the looks of things, but 4 sprogs seemingly....

) who then told me that he has never seen any issue with them and his kids never touch them, wasnt interested in listening period and was being a smug little git with it. Told the stroppy little turd that I wanted a word with head office and what was their number, which he reluctantly gave me after 4 askings and only by shoving a flyer into my hands and skulking off.
Had a few choice words with their HQ about his attitude and several of his staff's aversion to soap and water along with why I'm not happy about them being on sale (they even have lip cut in the bottom to make them easier to remove!!

and made of thin thin plastic that would pose no issue for a kid to snap in half) Got an apology for the attitude, whether it does anything or not is a different matter...
For anyone who is interested, have a search for fatally flawed to see why I hate those stupid things.
