Pickled eggs anyone?

Post by kellys_eye »

'comedy' food is most peoples opinion but what about YOUR opinion?

Reason I ask is that our hens are now laying like mad! We get 15 eggs per day! and are running out of ideas so Mrs k_e is on a 'pickle run' using her own spiced pickle solution as well as experimenting with others - beetroot pickled ones look amazing!

Are pickled eggs still 'popular' (were they ever  )?

Interesting look. They'd charge you 50 quid for that up the West End I expect.

Looks good to me, I love pickled eggs. Going to have to try making beetroot ones, looks funky.

I remember about 3 years ago at a festival, me and a mate finished a jar of them. Then poured port, red wine, cider, lager, vodka and whisky into the vinegar.
Made a competition, who can down the most of it. As you can imagine it didn't end well, but to this day I still like pickled eggs.
