Tiles should have been with you yesterday as well! Looks like our delivery guys either boo'boo'd up, or you told them to sod off till today :huray:

Should be a good job when it's done Matt ;)

Cheers :thumbleft:

Delivery company failed to be awesome :( You're the 1% haha!

I'll chat them up into doing it today hopefully, they had it down to be delivered 12/11/2012 before 16:30, not sure why they didn't.

Imagine you'll get a call shortly.

Cheers :thumbleft:

no worries i know delivery companies aren't infallible,
we do enough shipments at work to see that cock ups are the minority (annoying non the less) :thumbright:

Always happens to the ones you don't want to happen to haha!

Me wants piccies when the job's done, and if you don't mind, would like to feature them on our "under construction" user gallery :thumbleft:

Enjoy sticking it all down!

Cheers :withstupid:

.....right.

no i'm planning on doing the floors after i've done most of the walls (down to last course),
probably lay them out for missus to drool at :huray: (then put them back away  )
less risk of me dropping stuff (adhesive, grout, tiles, tools, towel radiator... :? ) on it and knackering the tiles up and going :wtf:

yeah, that's true.... least you'd still have one decor spare :)

Hopefully the tile shadings will match up really well and it'll look a grand job when done... just remember, seal BEFORE grouting!

so seal them after laying? :thumbright: (was thinking initially to seal them first then lay them  )

few decor tiles laid out for missus to drool at :love3:
didn't realise but they've got sparkly flakes in them, sort of like that black granite but no where near as expensive :thumbright:

bath back in and sink temp fitted for look and sort plumbing :thumbright:
(yes that is a chin up bar holding one side up ,
had to get some shield anchors as the right one went into loose mortar course and was sagging ::b )

Yeah the Manhattan range look awesome ;)

Nothing is stopping you from sealing them as individual tiles, we just chuck them on the floor & seal them :)

keep the chin up bar haha, suits the new fittings.

was originally going to make a vanity unit up as nothing i can find suits the sink that i can find plus i can support some of the sinks weight...
half tempted to support the corner with a breakfast bar leg as there is a fair bit of weight for two M10 bolts to be holding up.

sort of like this http://www.screwfix.com/p/worktop-leg-chrome/85795
but it looks like it's a fair old diameter

or these at a push... though the opposite problem

did the tape test on the walls, we painted it with white emulsion when we moved in a year and a half ago...

(used grey duck..duct..cloth tape)
had some spots of paint on the tape, was still on the wall,
on the whole didn't come away in chunks, feels powdery to the touch.

might try washing it down and try again after,
emulsion is water based isn't it??.... hmmm

don't think i'll risk it so got to sand it off ::b
looks like lidl are doing an orbital sander on thursday, that'll help

Always remove paint before tiling, it's not a stable backing for tiles as if the paint loses its grip on the wall, you're likely to have the tiles follow suit.

Saw your question RE: D15 in the other post, you won't have a problem with it, but if there ever is, give me a shout and we'll work something out ;) :salute:
