Cutting Metal Tile Beading

Post by custom made »

Anyone got any tips for cutting the beading @ 45 degrees neatly for the windo surround - a hacksaw isn't very neat.. Could I use my mitre saw?

Thanks

I used the corner pieces from this firm http://www.protilertools.co.uk/tile-tri ... rners-ends Bit pricey but they make a first class job of the join. I cut the tile trim proud then touched in with a angle grinder when it had set. The corners fit perfectly.

DeWalt thanks for the info but I'm not shelling any more money out on extras for beading. Could I use the mitre saw?

Think you'll be lucky to get away with that...not a fine enough blade (TPI)...

Hacksaw or junior hacksaw should do it, biggest problem is clamping the trim whilst you cut....
