I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hoovie,

Have you got a lump?

I still have one from when I was stung.

That's a rather personal question, isn't it?

Yes - I have a lump and it is quite hard. also got a rash about 40mm all around it. Think I may go get some cream for it.

You may end up with a permanent lump where you were stung then. Call it a battle scar!! I wonder whether you are allergic then? Did you try the Piriton?

village idiot

I do cooking with children from two classes twice a week. I'm not a dinner lady, I just volunteer so that the kids get to cook and take something home at the end of it as they make enough for the whole class and the teacher.

They're easily pleased as long as chocolate or icing is involved somewhere down the line!
