Ebay video adverts
Ebay video adverts are so annoying
Just recently when using ebay I have been plagued by video adverts that start playing automatically. Whilst I do not mind adverts on websites that are funded by the adverts I just don’t see why ebay needs the adverts in the first place, especially adverts that automatically play.
Ebay makes millions each year from the members, then makes millions more from the people that use paypal, it is just pure greed that they have adverts on most selling pages.
Having video adverts that automatically play is extremely annoying when you have several pages open on your computer and all of a sudden the sound from the video is coming out of your speakers
I use ebay several times a week, but I think I’ll look elsewhere in future!
I know that I can click on the ad choices button, but I should not have to. Ebay is a commerce site and should not have adverts on it, especially ones that play automatically and annoy the crap out of it’s users

Those REALLY p*ss me off too!!!!
Pop ups, pop unders and auto playing adverts! They are ALWAYS 10x the volume of normal video clips too.....as that'll make you want to stop and watch them!?
It is just sheer greed.

Arguing with a woman is like reading a Software Licence Agreement.

Re: Ebay video adverts
I don't know if it's my settings but youtube ads are always mute as default. Far better..
You're spot on Chez, it's one thing being able to opt in to playing the ad but having it slapped in your face is annoying. Suppose it's tucked away somewhere in there T & C's...
