Kitchen work top and granite breakfast bar.

Post by Sanvyd »

Hi, I have a granite breakfast bar supported by 2 chrome finish legs which were originally glued onto the under surface of the granite and rested on the floor. Unfortunately the floor is somewhat uneven because it is slate.
The legs are now loose from the children kicking it.
What is the best way to fix the legs back? Are there better alternatives?
I am disappointed with the kitchen fitter since I had raised exactly the same concerns hen they fitted the kitchen one year ago.

Many thanks
Sanvyd.

Not very hard. Just kids sitting on the table dangling their legs and kicking the legs.

Should have been stuck to the underside with a suitable resin product.

If you google resin for granite, it should throw up some suppliers and resins. They will then advise on the best one for diy use.
