Very nice work, sensible layout of tiling and looks like you matched the levels of the thinner mosaics nicely with the tiles surface, can't stand it when they're set back ::b

Looks like the grouting wasn't finished completely in the last pic?
I think I'll take two chickens...

Yes, luckily the mosaics were about the same thickness as the tiles. I usually advise the client to get tiles and border of a similar thickness if possible.

The grouting is complete in that pic except that it's grey and not white which makes it look slightly odd.

My top tip of the day.......

Thick tile and thin mosaic. Fix cheap thin contract tiles and then mosaic on top.

Stupid amounts of adhesive (keraflex), then float flat with a level and put mosaics in.

I like the dark wood built in one.... what wood is it based on, assuming its a laminate?
