MonoBrow is off

Post by Hoovie »

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 074737.stm

"Former world champion Fernando Alonso has left McLaren after agreeing an early release from his contract.

McLaren and Alonso have had an acrimonious relationship this season and a team statement said that both parties had "agreed to move on".

Alonso is free to join another team in 2008, and his agent said neither party would pay a financial penalty.

Red Bull and Renault are the favourites to sign him, and BBC Sport understands Red Bull are the more likely option. "

Now there is a great career move
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

thank god for tha he is gone, but the choices of replacements are hardly astounding are they , Nico rosberg and heikke kovaleinen , whatever happened to montoya?/ he was not bad when he was with them , surley he could make a comeback
If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL

Coulthard might be a better bet.

Old, experienced hand who knows he ain't going to be a world champion but would quite like to get on the podium every now and then. I think he could really help Hamilton to grow into his potential.

Brit team, two Brit drivers. Unbeatable combination!

Can't see it though - coming back to a team he was booted out of to make room for another driver - especially as 2nd fiddle (After this season, I reckon McLaren will review their equality policy - hurt them in the past and REALLY hurt them this year!)

talking about Stig - you know they are rerunning Top Gear on "Dave" (Ch 19 Freeview) ?

They had the "buy not rent and do america" yesterday - remember "Man Love" on the pickup and American Stig?

Been watching wall to wall Top Gear most of the weekend.

Captain Slow doing 250mph in a Veyron. Trying to kill a Toyota pickup. Some classics there.
