Good grief, Welsh!
You have my sympathy Bludall, for having to put up with such a gross waste of time. You could have put the effort into another useful European language rather than such a useless corpse of a language. Even Latin would have been more useful.
Best use of learning Welsh is that it keeps the Taffies down doing Macjobs.

My family moved to Clwyd and I had to learn Welsh from the age of 8 until I was able to quit at about 13. I remember how to count and say phrases but could never understand how it could be any use to me in later life..an English girl! Then I did my family tree and found distant Welsh ancestors! My father went to Grammar school and learned Latin which was useful in later life in his profession as a landscape gardener. I envy him.
