skirting board cut funny angle

Hi there, i hope one of you joiners can get me out of a sticky sutuation.
Im currently putting new skirting boards on the walls in the bedroom, most of the corners are fine 90 degrees. on one wall the angle is approx 130 degrees. if im thinking right, i need to make my cuts at 65 degrees to join the boards properly, only problem is my mitre box and electric miter saw only go upto 45 degrees, help!!!. do i need a better box, or is there a clever solution i can use. joiners must come accross this all the time, its got me scratching my head though...
any help is much appreciated.

is it an internal or external joint

if it is internal then scribe the joint

if it is external then the angle is actually 50 degree not 130 unless you have a very funny shaped room so you need to cut half of this 25 degree

its an internal corner, sorry for not mentioning that. im not too bad at scribing like it shows on the web site. But wont that only work if there at 90 degrees to each other. or do you mean i have to alter the angle of the cut (cut more of the back away, to allow for the board to be tilted..kind of thing ) sounds a little more technical. at least i have an idea to work with now, ill try it out on a scrap of wood

yes scribe the joint but cut the scribe on an angle.

this topic is a bit old now, however

on internal angle back cut the scribe, it makes the fit much tighter

as always practice helps
