Makita 9401 belt sander - parts not listed

Post by luke knight »

Trying to find parts for a makita 9401 belt sander.

I've seen the exploded parts diagram on alot of websites, but they do not show or list the two brass ferrels which hold the drive roller.

These seem to be prone to heavy wear so I'm suprised they're not shown, though maybe I have an older model (only 9401 on label).

On the exploded diagram these parts should be inserted in the main frame between parts 69 and 50!

If anyone could help, or even suggest where i could get a few of these machined on the cheap would be a great help.

p.s. diagram http://www.powertoolspares.com/tool/mak ... 01/spares/#

One of the disadvantages of being one of the most popular DIY Forums on the Web is that we attract Spammers from all over the world.

For this reason alone we have to have rules, in the same way as any society.

Unfortunately, well intentioned as your post was, it fell foul of our rules.

I hope that you will stick around and help with a few tool related posts. The 100 post limit can easily be reached at which point you'll be allowed to add a signature/link to your business.
