Happy Easter one and all, Really sorry for the delay in up dating the thread, things not moved a great deal but i have attached some new photo's of the progress...

All the lighting is up and running in all rooms, fans have been finished this weekend, porch lights also finished today and i have put these on a PIR to make life easier when carrying things from the car and trying to find the keys in the dark etc...

The en suite has moved along a little with the vanity unit now in place with the sink and toilet due to be fixed shortly..

I have also purchased the towel radiator today for the en suite.

The Shower cubicle is also purchased i just need to get the tiles bought and the tiler on the job,sharpish to keep things moving...

Other things on the go is the front drive that i am looking at getting block paved and also the decking for the rear so we can in the garden as the drop is around 5 foot currently, will have to see what the prices come back in like,obviously as you can imagine the bill is well on its way up and we are not far away from finishing but the cash is running out fast now....

I will try and keep the tread up to date a little more often now things have started moving again

I was going to lose it up there but my en suite bedroom is straight above so other pipe work up there, plus as you can see in the left corner of that picture the soil stack has to come down and be connected up yet, so sadly ran out of space above...

Have you seen the white plastic square ducting you can get, does look better than that expanding stuff, and you can paint it the blend in, bit more expensive tho? just a idea mate, you doing a good job!

Evening All

En suite tiled and grouted, pics attached, need toilet, shower, and cubicle fitting, along with towel radiator..

Need to move down stairs to fit down stairs toilet and basin along with towel rad...

Porch floor to sort and walls to paint and thats pretty much it inside, starting drive and extending the decking shortly..

Morning All

Progress update, the en suite is now complete minus the flooring which is ordered, the master bedroom is now carpeted and I am awaiting the carpets for rear bedroom as it is out of stock.

I am now underway with the driveway as I am fed up of walking in mud, well it has been going on now for 15 months...I am doing this in block paving and it should be finished in the next couple of days.

Photos to follow of all up dates above.

95% completed now, decking to rear, downstairs WC to pick and fit, porch flooring to choose and fit, then more painting and carpets to existing house to correct damage from the extension...

Afternoon All

Sorry for the delay in up dating the thread but been a busy bee...

Drive Finished, En suite 99% finished awaiting flooring, master bedroom completed, Spare bedroom awaiting carpet fitting, Outstanding jobs are: WC to fit out, porch floor to sort out, decking at rear, a couple of windows to replace, Rendering all round.... Then some how the job is complete..... took a little longer than planned but i suppose that what these projects are all about, really happy with the finished bits though and i suppose that is the main thing...

Great thread, planning a similar extention of my own.

Could you let me know what the actual width of the extention is? Specifically the width from the original exterior wall of your house to the current exterior wall of your extention? It is very hard to judge it from the pictures alone, but I am trying to gauge it against the width down the side of my own property.

Apologies if you mentioned this already but I cannot seem to see it in the thread thus far.

Hi there

Sorry for the long absence but i have had to take a rest and a holiday as this has been a large project, the width is 2750 outside wall original to new gable end..

i will add some more pics later this week with further progress of bedrooms with carpets,curtains etc..

And anything else i have done since last post.
