Metal cutting saw

Post by Hitch »

Spotted this yesterday, metal cutting circular saw, very similar to the evolution ones.
Not used this particular one, but will probably order one very soon.

Bought from FFX tools before, good service too.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work

Most places seem to sell them for iro £150.

Only think i havn't checked, is the replacement blades, Evolution ones are readily available, but i'm unsure if the bore is the same....

Only just seen this - the blade that comes with it has a 20mm bore. I'll get a box tomorrow and check to see if there is a collet to reduce that bore diameter from something bigger or not.

Regards
Ian

(PS if you go to the website it will be cheaper still)

Just had a look, it is definitely a 20mm bore and it doesn't have anything to enable you to use other size bore blades with it.

Nice one Ian, pretty sure the evolution and alfra blades are 20mm bore. They tend to be readily available.

I will get one next month then...blew me tool budget on a mitre saw from you last week. One of the Hitachi sliding ones. Awesome saw for the money.
