Quite some time ago I was debating about getting a "tablet" and if so which one, well earlier today................

It's a prestigio multipad 7.0 prime, It does what I want (which is not much) and like most devices it can have "aps" But as I don't want them, but as you can see I can join in from almost anywhere now.
Not figured out everything yet, but for £50 its cheaper than some PAYG phones.

I see it's running Ice Cream Sandwhich as the OS......the docs say it's upgradable to Jellybean - 4.1

If you can find out where to get the update, then do it - it's MUCH improved (faster, smoother and an overall nicer experience).
