Hello,
I had a brick wall to knock down as part of my kitchen project and went for a £50 B&Q SDS hammer drill. It's the bigger one with the chisel only function.
I have to say that it was brilliant. I've got no idea whether it could do a job like that daily and survive for long but for a diy'er it was great.
I was a little dubious at first because it was so cheap but it did the job!

I took a chimney down with a Dewalt SDS once and that cooked it... I think you've done well for £50 .... it may go on forever or it may stop tomorrow after doing that, but the warranty is prob a year or so, so you'll get your money's worth!

That's what I thought. If it just lasts for the chasing out now I'll be happy. I've got all the sockets and heating pipes to do so fingers crossed!
I've filled the warranty thing in just in case. I wouldn't normally bother but if that's what they offer then why not!
