Xbox to tv with HDMI
Hi guys, can an XBOX be connected to a small tv by only using an HDMI cable? I have the cable and connected them but still can't get any Xbox pics.
Your help would be great, many thanks.

I don't have a game console, but to see SKY I have to set the tv channel to Aux, Aux1, Aux2 or HDMI (Mine is Aux 2) Have you tried that?

Re: Xbox to tv with HDMI
yeah tried the whole Av1, Av2, HDMI, SCART selection etc, but to no avail. The other tele connects using the white red and yellow cables and the Av plug. The smaller tele doesn't have these coloured holes so had to use the HDMI route

Yes.....connect back to big TV and set output to 480/720. Connect to small TV and all will be well.

Cheers BillyGoat, I'll give it a blast. You mean set output to 480/720 on the actual xbox? (PS I've no idea about xboxes, it's for my 9 year old son) - i feel old.

Sorry, was very drunk last night.....does the smaller TV have a SCART socket? These almost certainly support the red/white/yellow inputs - you just need a very inexpensive adaptor which will cost a quid or two from a local sainsburys/shop/ebay.
HDMI will give the better picture though.
