Blue underlined text links internet explorer

Post by ultimatehandyman »

Long story, but the other day Angie was using the computer. A few hours later when I got to it the screen was full of several full page adverts which I closed down.

I then noticed that on every site I go on there are blue underlined text links, this is only when using internet explorer (pics attached)

I have tried a system restore to an earlier date but the problem is still there.

Also I have run Microsoft security essentials, Malwarebytes and Spybot search and destroy (which stopped working due to an error)

Help :help:

Install this and try it then, been an ad on uhm for a week or so.

Easy to get rid off by uninstalling.

I would imagine the program flags up any dodgy looking hyperlinks rather than creating the. :dunno:

Why would you be missing something, it's a program thats advertised on UHM, it makes a log of what you watch and highlights any spywar, snoops etc.

Check the link and read it, quite a good program if it wasn't for the rubbish, and the way it's advertised I could see lots downloading it.

What Chez posted is exactly what you would get if you downloaded that program.

it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it had been installed, and as said it's all over UHM the last week or so.

Re-boot and open a few pages. then uninstall it

edit,

It works just as well with any browser.
