Lucky you weren't cleaning the windows inside the conservatory - you'd have been like one of the dogs in the advert warning against leaving them in hot cars.
It is BLOODY hot and I'm loving it - 2 BBQs in the last week. Downside of course is I have my legs out. Apologies in advance!
I've been second fixing in a loft conversion today, all the windows open and it's still too hot to breathe properly - I doubt it will be much better this evening ( it was hot and airless when I opened up this morning at 7.45).
How do people sleep in these loft conversions in this sort of weather?
No it's lovely weather but I can say that as I'm on holiday!!!!!
Yesterday was to hot started off changing a sink someone had dropped a cup in then fitting a dishwasher drilling a 50mm hole through the wall outside at midday wasn't fun
Ended up rewiring a carvery lights in a dam hot commericial kitchen
A meeting is an event where minutes are taken and hours wasted.
Can't stand the heat - I've got the hosue in 'bits' so we're living in the static caravan for the duration and it IS an oven - metal walls and f-all insulation...... not only that, I can't actually MOVE because fo the back problem so I'm naked on the bed, squirming in soggy bedsheets and cursing the world in general
Yep, with you all...Kin roasting!!! Been sweating like a Jew in a Mosque!!!
Hay fever has knocked me for six as well...Keep seeing them white fluffy things floating about and that's when it starts, hours of runny snot, followed by an evening looking like something out of 'one flew over the cuckoos nest'

Dunno how you know that BA, it certainly felt like 30 C in Verwood by 2 pm...and at the top of the ladder I'd have been 2 Metres nearer the sun....which must add to the temperature...

Very true Plus if I get a sniff of the ole hay fever, it doesn't effect me that much when I'm pooping my pants hanging off a ledge...Other things take priority

brother lent me his very accurate temperature probe so i could calibrate all my thermometers and check the fridge freezer and the freezer
interestingly the freezer before defrosting that it needed quite urgently was cycling between 11.5 and 16.2 degrees as opposed to the required 18 degrees +or-1 that it happily maintains
There are three drawers. One has been iced closed a LONG time, we've all but forgotten what treasures lurk within. The others are only really suitable for thin/flexible things as you have to work around the ice caverns to get them in
We'll do it.....one day.
