It looks great. Just need a few days for it to dry which should work nicely as the floor tiler is in next week so we won't be painting until next weekend.

We're really happy with the space now that you can see it nice and clean with no chases or boxes. ;-)

Perfect timing to get the painting started before the floor tiler comes. The mrs has got 6 weeks off now so she can get stuck in!

As with all projects, whenever we do a couple of jobs it just leads to more jobs being created. After deciding on a new back door we found that the old porch thing on the back of the house was attached to the wooden door frame so it had to go. It was always going eventually but it made sense to do it this weekend whilst the plaster was drying inside.

From this.......

The mrs has done a great job with painting. It took a few coats but it was well worth the effort. It looks great.

The floor tiler is coming today. We had hoped for the doors to be done already but they'll now be fitted next week. Not ideal but the tiler will leave the 2 areas near the new doors and come back once they're in and the walls are made good around them.

Unfortunately the tiler got held
Up on another job so he never made it round today. As he'll be doing a couple
Of possible evenings next week to get finished on time I thought it would be a good time to get the lights in!

The floor tiler made a good start yesterday. The 2 external doors are being done today so the tiler will be back to finish later in the week. Bad weather means we may not get the French doors finished but he'll do what he can.

Haha. Only when I have to carry lengths of wood outside the cut them. It made a pretty decent workbench! Lol

I'm hoping he'll be adding glass later. Doesn't look too secure at this point!
