I've just removed the tiles around my bath and loo both of which are against the same wall. I am removing the old suite and replacing it with a more modern one. When removing the tiles I noticed that when the tiling was done last time they had tiled around the toilet cistern - is that normal practice? I plan to start re-tiling in a few days so just needed a couple of pointers.
Thanks in advance for your replies

Re: Question about bathroom tiling
I will always tile behind a toilet cistern, as if you ever decide to change the toilet in the future you will not have to change the tiling
