Spent all of July doing this....
Just finished this work for a customer. The garden and yard were a real mess. I did 48 meters of concrete post/panel fencing of various heights, nearly 50 square meters of natural sandstone paving, an 18 square meter deck, new gate, new steps etc etc.
Quite pleased with myself for getting round some problems - there were some nightmares with shallow drains, and all the fencing replaces old 15 foot high leylandii I never want see another root again! Brought in 7 tonnes of stone for the sub base, all in my Ford Ranger, and wheelbarrowed in - absolutely no storage space for stuff to be delivered
Best thing I did was hire a 1 tonne Kubota mini digger - we had 30 degrees of heat that week, and I was going to dig it all out by hand! Absolute bargain at 240 quid for the week, brilliant little machine.
Anyway, here are some pictures....

my garden needs doing if you work for free
Thanks for the offer.
I do work for free, but insist on using my own labourer, a golden retriever called Charlie who unfortunately charges £60 per hour. Let me know when we can start..

Fantastic. Magazine front cover stuff that.
I imagine any money your customer has spent there has been added to the house value, that doesn't work if you just throw stuff together.
As said, thanks for sharing, its a credit to you

The Barman says, "I'm sorry, we don't serve time travellers". This time traveller walks into a bar.

Re: Spent all of July doing this....
Thanks for all the nice comments folks!
The customer is now going to relay the lawn so its flush with the stone, and put some fancy gravel along the edges of all the paving to finish it all off.
Then I've been invited round for a barbeque to see the finished job.
Next job is off to my sisters house to build a stone and oak porch on her old cottage rennovation project. I'll post pics of that as it happens.
I've never worked so hard since being made redundant!
