Tile over hole in the wall?
I have had an old heating clock removed from my kitchen which was located in the middle of a tiled wall. I have some spare tiles I can fit but I have a gaping hole in the wall as per the attached picture. Will I need to put some plasterboard over this?

Re: Tile over hole in the wall?
Yes and no.
Depends on the tile size compared to the hole size and also where the tile joint falls in relation to it.

Re: Tile over hole in the wall?
4 tiles fills the entire space. The bottom right tile will have to be cut in a reverse 'l' shape to fit around the switch plate. 2 tiles to the left abut the hole by about half an inch

Sounds like it should be ok. Just be careful when tightening the screws on the face plate.
