Whoa! Just made an account to say that your project was amazing. That's one hell of an achievement! You mentioned that electrician is your trade, had you any experience with any other trade work or was it all first time? Like the tiling etc?

Re: Kitchen project inc. 1 wall in and 1 wall out
Thanks for the comments guys. We're really pleased with it.
I've done bits and pieces before but nothing professionally. I've always preferred to have a go at things if I think I can before I go straight out and pay the pro's. we did have the plastering done and the floor tiles as that was just too big of a step for me. We also had lots of help with the woodwork from the mrs's dad.
We've pretty much stopped since we called it finished. There's just the rest of the house to do now but we're having a break. It'll be the lounge or the bathroom next. ;-)

Looks fantastic! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. A real inspiration, too, and lots of good tips from everyone along the way. I've been taking notes for when I get to that stage one day.

Looks great pj and lots of tips which is good to store in the memory banks.
The window board was the dodgy bit for me on my DIY attempt as I used foam filler and not enough weight!
Well done!
