Decking Project

Hi all, Just thought i would show you my newly finished decking project. It took a good weekend to complete just need to finish the lights and treat in clear varnish then its done.

if you get driving rain that may splash up from the decking onto the wall be prepared to put planters against the wall in heavy rain :wink:

I wouldn't varnish it, either a wood treatment or decking oil..

Sorry I ment to say decking oil. Yer the playhouse is great and when we moved house it went together perfectly and is infact getting an extension in the coming weeks.e

You posting pics of the extension?? :thumbright:

My mate wants me to build his little girl a house type bed thing in her room...I might take a few tips off yours but leave the roof off :lol:

is it going to be a raised bed??
if so you could have windows to match the bottom and top
the door could cover the ladder when shut and have the half sized door painted on it with a window above but actually be a full height door to allow easy access to the ladder

you could have the back off the roof as a solid and a lightweight material to give the effect off a roof
you could also have a rail rather than a roof and material you pull along tent like to give the princess her own four poster effect

and dont forget a small shelve as she will want to eat and drink in there :thumbleft:
