Just wondering............copying pictures

Post by Someone-Else »

Copying pictures from my fuji finepix camera to my desktop. CTRL and click on which pictures to copy. So far so good / normal.
Just as I get to about the 6th picture up pops an "action bar" copying picture 1 to Q, copying picture 2 to Q etc.

The more I want to copy the more it does it, I have even seen (not today) Copy 6 of picture 1

Its not a problem I just delete the copy pictures.

Just wondered has this or similar happened to any of you, and any idea why it does it?

Q being the whole name of the camera, and the card location.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

 If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

:idea1: Click Here for a video how to add/change pictures

Inept people use the QUOTE BUTTON instead of the QUICK REPLY section :-)

Try 'moving' them rather than copying them - this should delete the original pic on the camera as it does so and prevent multiple copies being produced.
Don't take it personally......

I usually open a window containing the pics I want to transfer, then press ctrl and select the pics I want to transfer. Drag and drop them into the folder I want them in. Simples
