My Google Earth has gone crazy, I've just opened it up and the opening pic of the globe is spinning out of control, I can stop it with the mouse but it starts again as soon as I let it go. It won't go anywhere I ask it to, or to any previously saved destinations.
I've since restarted the PC and it's still no different.
My best guess is to remove it and do a fresh install - any other ideas?

Re: Google Earth
Are you using a touchpad?
I found this, sounds about right....

Also "Within Google Earth, Go to 'Options-> Navigation' and de-tick 'enable controller' under the non mouse controller settings.
You will now have a non spinning globe!"

Re: Google Earth
I'm just using my desktop PC and a mouse - so it may not work, but I'll have a go with your suggested solution - cheers Billy.

Re: Google Earth
Well, it's working again, I think that fixed it, had to do it a couple of times and eventually a mouse click stopped it from spinning - I reset the default settings and it set it off again - so I had to untick "enable controller" again.
It's working now, but it's strange, one of my stored locations is showing footage from 1999 - and it must have been a foggy day - I know it definitely used to be more recent than that.
I don't like it - why can't computer people leave things alone?
