Can anyone provide any handy tips or advice for removing silicon?
I am looking to swop out my was basin and toilet both of which are siliconed to the wall tiles.
I have seen some chemical products are available to help the process but they appear to have mixed reviews.
Cheers

Re: Removing silicon
Cut the excess off with a sharp knife or silicon remover tool then apply silicon remover.
Ive even used the B&Q silicon remover in the past which has worked well.

CT1 multisolve is wonderful along with a sharp blade - the easiest way as far as I know !
