Re tilng on plasterboard after removing old tiles help.
Im updating the kitchen and removing the old tiles from a section of wall around the window and splash back area in the kitchen, while removing the old adhesive its tearing the paper part off of the plaster board and of course a little hole here and there.
As im going to be putting new ceramic tiles back up in place, Im going to fill in the little holes made but as the paper part of the plaster board has been torn off do i need to do anything to prepare those exposed areas before putting adhesive back on it ?? if so what's the best thing to do or use ?

Pva, bonding, then skim, or just pva and then tile adhesive.

I think it's because you contradicted Crooksey.......but it does make sense about not using PVA though.
