Hi All,
Not sure if anyone can help with this as its a bit tricky to explain!
Ive just received 64 flatpacked boxes of kitchen units from MFI (happy days!) all was going well putting together the base units, fitting the doors and drawers etc, then in came the other half and decided she wanted a go at putting a drawer together....
Basically she put it together but I dont think she screwed the screws tight enough, with the front of the drawer you screw two u shaped metal peices on then these clip on to the drawer sides, this has been done but for some reason the drawer isnt square (its a big 1000 wide drawer) so it does not close properly. Im struggling to unclip the front again, if I could do this im sure I could tighten it all up and make it rigid before clipping it back on.
Told you this was difficult to explain! Does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?
Many Thanks

yes i think i know what you mean, are they soft close drawers?
If so you need to poke around on the outside of the drawer sides. there should be a couple of screws near the front which allow you to adjust the drawer. it may be that all it needs is a bit of adjustment. if not, you need to poke a screwdriver around that area somewhere to release the mechanism, i can't remember exactly how you do it, but look closely at it and you should be able to work it out.

normally there is a screwhead in the mechanism in the hole in the draw side that you turn quarter of a turn and the front pops off

Can you beleive I managed to get the drawer front off and when I took it all apart I t was plain to see that the drawer bottom was nowhere near square, so there is no way this drawer will ever close flush!
Called them and should have a replacement sent within 3 weeks!
Thanks for your comments, I have to do a bit of groveling to the other half now for blaming her......
