Is your DIY always a disaster?
If so, we’d like to hear about it. We’re making a light hearted new TV Series for Channel Five and we’re looking for spirited people to take part - people with a great sense of humour who are not afraid to reveal the DIY horrors they live with every day!
DIY is never easy – even the most dedicated DIYer can wind up with more work than there was in the beginning! So, if you have a hilarious story about a DIY project that’s gone wrong, get in touch and if your story makes it into the series, we’ll pay you for your trouble.
We’re interested in projects big and small – whether it’s faulty flat packs, doors that don’t fit or heaven forbid, more enthusiasm than skill, we’d love to hear from you. Or maybe you have taken on your own loft conversion or even a whole house renovation which is currently looking more ‘bomb site’ than ‘pride and joy’, then we’re offering the chance to appear on a warm hearted programme that doesn’t take itself too seriously and at the very least will help others avoid the same pitfalls.
If you have a story and our show appeals to you, please do get in touch on removed. Mod 2.
SOME INFORMATION ABOUT US
IWC Media is one of the UK’s most respected production companies. We make a diverse range of hit programmes from property shows like ‘Location Location Location’ to blue chip science and history film. ‘Robson Green’s Extreme Fishing’ is one of our most well-known brands to appear on Channel Five and we expect our new DIY show to follow suit.
I do hope this piques the interest of some people on here - some of the posts in the DIY Disaster forum are brilliant and it would be great to speak to you about it. There's no obligation to take part if you call/email us at all. We're a friendly bunch. :)
Thanks for reading!
All the very best,
Jen
