Is this available in the UK yet.

I want to get hold of a few. I want one and a big tiling contractor needs a lot of them.

Not available in the UK yet. When he sent over a box of samples it was found that they don't fit most UK sized buckets. He has since sorted that problem but as far as I'm aware none have been sent to the uk again for trial.

If you are after a qty then I'm sure he'd supply them via the US

Could you not make one? i'm sure something like a belt bearing from a car engine and some 18mm ply would do the job?

Had a reply from the distributor and they haven't corrected the issue with compatibility of UK buckets as of yet (Sure that could be overcome over here somehow). He didn't mention anything about shipping but has passed on my email to Phil (the designer) who will no doubt pop into the forum and give you some answers ROC..

maybe just a prototype then?

I don't know how big a belt bearing is, but if it's a bit bulky you can buy a "Lazy Susan Bearing," - very slim, come in a range of sizes - the 12" model below is advertised as taking a 450kg load.

No CR, http://www.primo-tools.com/ . I emailed Ric Maggio. Couldn't find Phils email address.

He told me they would be ready in a few months, so you could be right with prototype. Probably not on the line yet.

So has to make a completely different size of "Buddy" ???

Why not just export them complete with a bucket ???

I haven't even got welders goggles.........I don't do engineering stuff lol. The nearest I would get to making one is buying a £10 childs potters wheel.

Thankfully, it isn't one of my jobs with the 35Kg tiles. One of our tilers is a commercial on site tiling foreman and his firm has the job.

Yes I DID get the Email from Rich. We didn't need to get a complete NEW tool. Just needed to redesign the base a bit. I have had other things I have been working on recently so unfortunately
this UK re-design has been put off a bit. We have a LARGE trade show here in Jan called Surfaces and then the largest in April called Coverings. Coverings is more International and maybe by then we will have the "New and Improved" International BBB ready. Until then, Another friend from the UK that received one of the FIRST shipments and just cut down one of your buckets and it fit and worked fine.He did a video review on you tube but I can't find the link anymore. i will keep trying and post it here if I do. - Phil
