There was a good video review that I saw by a firm, here in England.

Loaded with tiles and a fat bloke stood on top and it spun round with one hand. They seemed to use a bucket that it fitted onto.

I bet the BBB fits plenty of buckets here.......just that the tilers are too tight to buy a new one. They prefer to use empty adhesive buckets!

That was a bucket which was cut down. A case of 12 BB's were sent out to UK tilers and none of them could find a bucket that it would sit on without modification. Now between 12 tilers you can imagine how many different brands of bucket it was tried on. So no it doesn't fit plenty of buckets here. In fact we had a tiler measuring buckets on OZ to see if it would fit!

The issue with cutting a bucket down to fit is that the rim adds strength to the bucket, most are a floppy mess when cut down and not forgetting you've now cut off the handle. Of course it doesn't need to sit of a bucket so can be used without but it does add a small amount of PITA factor.

The BB got mixed reviews to be honest although to be fair a few didn't even try reviewing a product they had been sent FOC which is pretty rude!

The fact it doesn't currently fit UK buckets isn't a deal breaker but would be far better if it did.

Tilers forum, it was on.

There are plenty of other buckets apart from what adhesive comes in.

I knew he was doing a mod to it, but didn't realise it wasn't available here yet.

one search......115mm to 326mm rimmed buckets with 20 sizes in between.

it was tried on builders buckets, adhesive buckets, paint tubs even chicken feed buckets!

That is the problem with giving free stuff away for reviews.....you have to hope the lads can be ar5ed to look further than the back of the van.

Some of my UN pails are about that size and wouldn't mind betting they would work. Less than £5 each.

Yes I DID get the Email from Rich. We didn't need to get a complete NEW tool. Just needed to redesign the base a bit. I have had other things I have been working on recently so unfortunately
this UK re-design has been put off a bit. We have a LARGE trade show here in Jan called Surfaces and then the largest in April called Coverings. Coverings is more International and maybe by then we will have the "New and Improved" International BBB ready. Until then, Another friend from the UK that received one of the FIRST shipments and just cut down one of your buckets and it fit and worked fine.He did a video review on you tube but I can't find the link anymore. i will keep trying and post it here if I do. - Phil

How much are they direct in the original size.

I have buckets with 305mm external rim size, sitting here lol........They aren't tile adhesive buckets!

It may also fit my United Nations standard buckets too.

303mm wouldn't be enough.

This is a bucket at 295 external width sitting on top of a BB

I would guess you'd need something between 305-315mm INTERNAL opening

That is handy. Just measured some of my buckets.

All very good but not helpful to laying floor tiles where you are on your knees

No brand or product.

Readily available UN pails which can be bought singly. I use them for water changes on the fish tanks.

Mind you, I wouldn't have know had I not had one sitting here lol. I don't normally measure my buckets.

Don't forget it doesn't have to be on a bucket. Someone had one placed on a roll-a-long cart. Google images, I think it was.

I wasn't even interested in it at the beginning.....Last week doing another marble job, made me think Hmmmmm! Time of year the ole scaphoid gets weaker cos of the weather.

Guys, I haven't checked in here in a while
The BBB in its current state will fit onto a bucket
That is at maximum diameter 302mm
The problem they were having is that many of the buckets
they tried had a maximum diameter if 295
That meant the Internal rim still was too big
and the BBB was tilted when set on those buckets.
One guy turned it upside down and it fit onto
the bottom if that bucket. Yes, using it this way took
away the possibility of water and sponge to be
