Ikea Aggggg!
I thought BT and Sky were bad till I had to deal with Ikea! Always unexpectedly high level of calls, had to ring them 5 times total of almost 3 hours on hold including 20 minutes then cut off! How do they keep going with all those Yummy Mummy customers that complain and demand compensation at the slightest excuse? I would have to be desperate to ever use them again.
After sitting there all that time I never want to hear Abba’s Mamma Mia again!
There I feel a little better now

Re: Ikea Aggggg!
I tried to phone them today and the recording said there was a 60 minute queue. I hung up.
It's easier to go there.

Re: Ikea Aggggg!
Best of it was they were supposed to pick up some chairs we were returning, I rang just to be on the safe side and after 50 minuites on the phone they confirmed the job was out for today.
Quarter of an hour later the driver rings to say they have just contacted him as he is about an hour away, having passed by the bottom of my road earlier but did not have my job so he will be with me ASAP. He had no paperwork just a scribbled note he had made from their phone call, thank goodness I hung on this morning It was only because I was doing some shopping on line with the phone wedged to my ear that I lost track of time. What a shower

Re: Ikea Aggggg!
If you think Ikea customer service is horible to call, try Ryanair. Last year Spain changed their landingfees and I got an email that Ryanair would just pass the bill further on wich is fair enough. I tryed toc heck in and got error. It turned out I had been charged twice so they owed me 9 £. £. Ok, phone them up since their websites are totaly useless. If you think a callcentre in India can be bad try phoning one in east Europe on a bad line, with a scandinavian name and talking english to someone that just learned english the other week. How it was done I allmost don't know but I got there in the end. The irony of it was that the customerservice was a pound a minute. I was on with them for about 30 mins.....to get my 9 £ back.
Ohhhhhhh welllllll.....

Re: Ikea Aggggg!
It's about time the EU did something useful and made charging for customer service calls in the EU illegal!
Loads of firms do it and make money from their own **** ups, to add insult to injury there are endless adverts about the extra services you can buy from them while you are waiting and paying for the pleasure

Re: Ikea Aggggg!
Very true. I don't mind paying if they are providing a free service, but when it's a line to request service for something they sold me and has a fault. and they don't have enough staff to answer the call.toolbox wrote:It's about time the EU did something useful and made charging for customer service calls in the EU illegal!
