Decorators depot.co.uk??????

Post by MrDennis »

Ordered some paint from this web site and after several weeks of waiting, during which time we left phone and email messages saying we did not want the paint any more, it arrived. Refused delivery of the paint and sent more email and left more phone messages. No one ever replies. Sent a letter requesting the £50+ back but still no response. Anyone got any info on this company. All seems very strange.

Quick googlesearch says several in here has had problems with that company:

decorators-depot-help-needed-t67340.html
decorators-depot-ltd-t65000.html

Obvious they have issues.

Just a thing I noticed on their site. If there aint a adress or any official company info it rings a bell with me. I took a hit with once so been there, done that.

They seemed to have been selling on ebay earlier also:

It is illegal for a company to have a retail web site without a proper address and contact info.

Often sites like these dropship their stock direct from suppliers rather than send it themselves - this can work but if items are out o stock or there are issues with suppliers then it all falls down.
If at first you don't succeed - remove all evidence that you tried.
