in the bad books..........again
the mad one wanted me to join her while she walked the dog, couldn't be arsed as I had a few things to do & now I am getting "you never want to do anything as a family" & "you go on that computer& just ignore us"
between my usual job & weekend job I'm working 7 days a week, I need some time to just relax now & again
she tells me I need to get my book finished (latest Reacher novel) but then gets a cob on when I want to do just that
mental the lot of them

i love being married
it's great to find that one special person that you want to annoy for the rest of your life
I have a soft spot for the wife, it's a peat bog just outside Ardross
Still Yes Highland

Re: in the bad books..........again
Ahh women. The hardest of creatures to understand. When I ask my missus if anything's wrong (when she's got the sulks), her usual response is,,, "Nothing" . That's when I know there is something wrong, and that's usually my innate ability to shut everything out when I'm engrossed in something important (like replying to this thread). When she says anything to me and it starts with the word "Babes,," I instinctively know, it's going to be summat I don't want to do.

If she's not reached the menopause, and if she's not got a touch of early-onset Alzheimers - you ain't seen nothing yet.
One day it will all be firewood.

So true!
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.

They are all mental, some moreso than others.
Arguing with a woman is like reading a Software Licence Agreement.

Then again she may have a point.
When did you last go out with her.
A little appreciation instead of excuses goes a long way

Don't moan at me about your wife, they're all the same, they come outta a factory somewhere. This factory owner spent billions making them look different, different legs, arms, heads, faces, waists, tits, minge's ever last detail different. Only problem was, he done the whole developement budget on looks hence, they've all got the same software & guess what, its gotta glitch.
As I said, they're all the same. Had I know this at 18 I could have saved myself a fortune on them & just picked the first one that cooked breakfast in the morning and said thanks for the night before's efforts.
Regards

And a little periodic "Maintainence" goes a long way...As said by Mr. Scruff a little appreciation......or the odd compliment...
Better still (and it cost nothing more than a bit of time) cook Her breakfast...

I said to my missus "I fancy a pint or two, get yer coat on "
"Oooh" she said with a beaming smile - "you haven't taken me out for ages"
"I'm not" says I......."I'm turning the heating off"
