High gloss curved cabinet
I have just finished this unusual cabinet for a customer (Well it needs the handles fitting still)
Made as usual in MRMDF but it did present a bit of a challenge for me.
Never enough hours in the day!

Re: High gloss curved cabinet
Thanks guys. The unit is now finished. Just thought I would post up the shots of it with the handles fitted before it gets collected.
Now it's back to some more Oak.

Very nice mailee, Just how do you get the high gloss finish on the mdf? Spray it?

Re: High gloss curved cabinet
How did you make that then
May we (I) ask how much that costs to buy?

Re: High gloss curved cabinet
it is made in MRMDF and the corners were 'beefed up' with layers before carving into shape.
I would rather not mention a price on an open forum Billygoat. I will say it is over a three figure sum.

It's beautiful. And having a piece which you know is unique has to be worth a lot.

Re: High gloss curved cabinet
Well it has been a long time coming but here are some shots of the cabinet in place in the customers home. I am pretty pleased with the outcome.
