Peg power wrote:Ha reading this is very typical answers from a marriage and everyday I am blessed that my wife is nothing like this. Hand on heart she is a saint, I am into my motorbike track days and she has brought me a three day track day in Valencia next year, for my Christmas present, which turns into a 5 day holiday with the lads. We have a young family, three kids and what I think is important is that we both have a good balance of family time, friends time, own time etc. neither are jealous, we both go out separately and obviously together, and after 10 years of marriage, family life has taken a bit more priority but we still manage our own time.

We that's my side I hope she feels the same????

I've been with mine for....22 years now  (I'm sure she'll correct me if I'm wrong)....

And although I wouldn't say she's a saint
(Her cooking leaves a lot to be desired..which is why I cook, and she's not that into cleaning either.. unless we've got visitors coming..)

I largely agree with those those sentiments...

Looks like we've been lucky Peg power...or just more choosy

EDIT...

Do not get me going. As a rule of thumb, I never asks my missus what s for dinner as the food she will put infront if me will make me throw up? Can't cook, can't clean, can't even wash dishes? ::b
If I want to eat a decent meal, I head for the kitchen and cook it myself. I also ensure that I cook as much as possible for the kids as left to her, they'll just eat the junk food she gets from Lidl or similar? Any other woman will be contented that her man doesn't bother asking for food. WRONG!!! She constantly complains that when she puts food infront of me, I refuse to eat. But when her mum comes and cooks, I eat everything. So as far as she is concerned, I've never really loved her? WTF.
Men will always be kids. Even after they have grown up, they keep trying to go back where they originally came from!

The Mrs has to be doing something if I'm doing something, now if she is doing something and I'm not the brown stuff hits the fan!

Its my birthday today (55) I can now join Saga and we are doing nothing on the eve of a new year, hope ther isn't a knock on the door and no sleep until late morning.

Happy New year to you all and let 2014 be a good one.
