One of the lads from work has recently moved house and wanted somewhere to store logs.
So chalked up on the corner of a bit of steel plate, we devised a rough plan.
A phone call to his mate who works in a timber yard, a saturday afternoon, and an hour or so Wednesday evening, we had this bad boy...Knocked up at work, due to the inclement round here for last, er, since forever. Just about manageable by two of us in one piece.
His father-in-law is a roofer, and has a surplus of welsh slate at the moment. So thats whats going on the roof.
Bit of a wobbly start.....
Nice and tidy at the back, although it wont be seen.
Almost done
Tile battens and slates left for the roofer.
Front is sloping forwards as his choice, reckon he will regret that every time he hits his head on the front
Its about 2500 long, 1600 high and 800 deep.
2 dark (wet) bits of wood fitted after the rest, as we ran out
Log store
