I am going to fit an outside tap in the next few days
Long drill bits are a bit pricey for just one so I was pleased to find this boxed set at a reasonable cost on Amazon (£26 rounded up)
There may be better prices out there but I thought this very reasonable for what you get for the money.
Makita SDS Plus Drill and Chisel Set (10 Pieces)
I should add, I received this the other day, the carry case is a little dubious as to it's being a genuine Makita case, as the
logo on the front is just a stuck on label (Don't know if that's how they do it, just seemed a bit naff to me)
all the drill bits and chisels have makita etched on them so I assume they are genuine makita products perhaps just re boxed in a
generic case.
Cheers
James

Re: Makita SDS Plus Drill and Chisel Set (10 Pieces)
For the odd one off, screwfix/toolstation do a set with 2 or 3 long bits for about £15
I got it for £10 a few years back, no complaints form me, done a few holes for wires/pipes.
I also got a set of 1m bits from Aldi for about £8 last time they had them.
Not used them yet, but couldn't resist at that price.

I am not a pro.
