At the end of a worktop how far back do you set the tiles and tile trim?
Is there a rule of thumb?
My new kitchen work tops are bull nosed so the tile trim in my opinion will look a bit odd if it was brought to the front edge, so how far back is the correct amount to set them back?
Cheers in advance
Where to end splashback tiles ?

start of the bullnose, 10mm back, 20mm back. Depends what fits and looks best with the tile set out.
The other option which looks ok is not to tile the returns, if they are far enough away from sink or cooker.

To be honest the sink and cooker are both on returns, the bullnose is probably a 9mm bullnose so not big. And the tile trim 'her indoors' has picked is of course the square one so on the Start of the bullnose looks daft.
