First home
Evening all,
We have just embarked on re-decorating the hall, stairs and landing and in the limited down-time i stumbled across this forum and have already found plenty of ideas to take forward.
Thought i would share with you the progress made with the house so far. Keep in mind I am new to all of this DIY/Decorating stuff.
We bought and moved into our first house almost exactly a year ago. The interior was dated and totally not suiting our style so we set about making it ours.
The lounge/diner was the our first project. Pretty much everything either needed replacing or changing. Fortunately it was all cosmetic.
Anyway, photos below and if anyone has any questions, tips, criticism or advice then fire away.
Cheers, Ian.
PS. All other work done will follow.

Re: First home
I've always wanted a place with one of those brickwork fireplaces.
Can't imagine how satisfying it would be to demolish it
As for the finished job. It certainly doesn't look like a first effort
