Re: For sale 3 planes
I doubt you will get any takers, mate.
Highly priced for low end planes you will get for not much more brand new in sales.

did not ask you to buy them. older planes are better than new ones, and yes i sell these at this sort of price all the time, if you are not happy with me putting these on here i cane remove them.

Re: For sale 3 planes
Whether they are expensive or not I have to agree older planes are much better than new, same with chisels as the steel quality is much better and they hold a sharp edge better and longer.
Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

Re: For sale 3 planes
Leave them on here........no need to remove them. Doesn't matter if I am happy or unhappy with them being on here for sale, it isn't my forum. (happy though)
Ideal for a DIYer or for a second plane for rough work which leads to damage.
You would get them locally at a boot fair for less. Not that I go to them, but you wouldn't have the postage cost.
Kinell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just been on ebay!
You might get a buyer lol.
best I go to bed without my cup of horlicks

Re: For sale 3 planes
I got about £3.50 per plane 20 0dd years ago and they were all hand made wooden ones. My grandad would have been turning in his grave at the time.
I use Japanese planes. Hand ones, not electric. I have an electric but hate them.
