And I see that you've posted a video of it here, on YouTube. Mind if I ask where abouts in the world you are? FGermany? (because of a small bit of German? in the vid) Only asking because the model type seems more like a USA one than a European/Oz one (which would make it something like a DTD148)

Interesting also that Makita are now pushing a new super compact brushless combi in Oz with 125Nm of torque, the DHP481 - wonder how lonkg it will be before Makita UK bring that one in? Out of interest Makita have also announced a couple of new cordless jigsaws, the DJV181 (body grip) and the DJV182 (D-handle) (note the BVC350/DVC350 cordless dust extractor in the background and the LED kights and variable speed on the jiggers). Makita also announced a new 36 volt cordless saw in the UK last month, the DHS710 which uses two 18 volt battery packs side by side and has thermal overload protection - about time, too! - and a better (cast) blade guard (the BSS610/611 have a flimsy plastic one. Only pity is there's no slot to allow its' use on the guide rails

So, Yiddish, then? Thought it sounded like German, but not quite......

BTW missed the link to the jigsaws off . It is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h1qofpzrvI. And I forgot to mention the new mini recipro saws, the DJR183 and DJR185 (already in the UK with the DHS710 due in the next couple of weeks, I'm told). Looks like Makita has finally woken up to the need to start competing withthe rest of the market again. All this is starting to make my kit look a bit old hat......
