:-) Thanks for posts guys, not the cheapest revamp of a path, wasn't sure about overlaying on existing concrete, but it was around 5" thick & been there since late 80s.
Cheers Cotswold the blue single bullnose finish it nicely.
The step was going to be semi circled to front of pillars in red engineering bullnoses, but for me to axe the bricks was gonna be hellish expensive! & after a trial of cutting them with a diamond bladed angle grinder we had a change of plan. :cheers:

When slabbing over old concrete, I always pressure wash it first, keeps it clean for a good bond of the SBR.

sbr? in 1980 it was called gravity & stickslikeshittity. Now its all about what they can sell ya :wink:
