Morning All,
Normally i would class myself as a 'know it all' about computers but i've encountered a problem which seems rather simple to fix but i can't find the solution.
I created a new email address for my friends parents (gmail account) - Done with no problems
I added the newly created email address into Outlook 2013 - Done with no problems
Sent a test email to my email address - Done with no problems
Sent a test email to another one of my email addresses - Done with no problems
Sent an email out to their entire contact list advising of new email address - Quite a number are returned as being undelivered, even the ones i tried separately above.
Sent another test email to my email address - Done with no problems
I know i'm probably overlooking the obvious but i can't fathom why outlook is unable/doesn't want to send an email to multiple contacts.
The only thing i haven't tried is send the email from using googlechrome (as in webmail) but that's because they don't have ant contacts stored there
thanks in advance

Re: Gmail problem
I think there is a limit on gmail of about 100 a day so if you had 100 contacts that might explain it, other wise I suspect it is some sort of security on gmail to prevent new accounts being opened and used for spam.
The other possibility is your own security system might also block say more than 10 emails being sent at once.

Re: Gmail problem
Is the problem with Gmail or Outlook, the later I wouldn't touch with a bargepole the same as msn.

Re: Gmail problem
Is that because the recipient has changed their email address?r055c wrote:............Quite a number are returned as being undelivered, even the ones i tried separately above

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

500 if using webmail
100 if using outlook
Couldn't think of a way to phrase my question to Google until you posted this.
thanks
